Service Projects

For the 2008 - 2009 year our club donated over $850 worth of items and 5 hours of time to the following projects:

Inner Harbour Residential Treatment Center – Inner Harbour is a residential treatment organization who specializes in helping children ages 6-17 with significant psychiatric illness and impairment in behavioral, cognitive, emotional, familial, and/or social functioning.

SHARE House– The SHARE house Douglas is a non-profit organization providing crisis intervention and care for families of domestic violence.

Sheltering Arms- Sheltering Arms is metro Atlanta’s oldest nonprofit child care provider and one of its most respected. Our mission is to serve working families with high quality, affordable child care and education and comprehensive support services, as well as to provide professional development for early childhood educators and community outreach.

Clinton Nature Preserve- This 200-acre park was donated to Douglas County by Ms. Annie Mae Clinton. The park is required by Ms. Clinton's will to remain in its natural state as much as possible. The park contains nature trails, and open exploration areas.
